Hola!

Sorry, I have given myself not much time to email this week! We had a great one though! Got to go on exchanges twice with both the District Leaders in our zone. Lot's of training and lots of fun!

#february

I am continuing to have amazing experiences out here every day that teach my ultimately about my reliance on the Savior and how important living gospel principles every day is! I feel I am truly losing myself in the service of others! Like seriously what day is it. Speaking of, happy valentines day everyone, I think!

It snowed finally, kindof!

I know this picture might trigger an epileptic siezure, but it's the only thing I have to
show for an amazing exchange in downtown Reno. (it's the Reno sign at night)

Heres an omelet I made, smothered in Tapatio and Yum-Yum sauce to cover the flavor of old ham and kale. #gains

I love my mission and I love my Lord! Have an amazing week and don't forget to lift those around you!

Awesome Week!

Lot's of awesome miracles this week!

Elder Abbott (MTC district) and I at MLC, featuring Elder Harmon
Elder Schloemer at our zone sports!

We have just been building up this area and I am loving it. We haven't had a day with less than like at least 2 teaching appointments in a few weeks. It's great to see it grow so much! One of our investigators set herself with a baptismal date of May 8th, but that's a little far off so we are going to talk to her about it lol.

The Squa'

We had MLC (Mission Leadership Council) again this week. That is always a blast to go to. I love getting to work more closely with President Chesnut and receiving so much instruction and counsel from him. We got some information about the new Mission President that will replace President Chestnut *holds back tears*. His name is Elder Godoy and he's currently serving as an area 70. So that's awesome! I am pretending like I didn't hear that information though because I don't want President Chesnut to leave haha!

Why is it 60 in February in NV?

Elder Torres fixes a bike tire while Elder Doig characteristically stands there (joking :))

Not much else went on! We are loving being with Elder Doig and he is learning right along side us!

Have a great week!

Back in a Trio!

We had a really good week this week! Back in a trio again! It has it's pros and cons haha.

Elder Torres, Elder Doig and I dropping off some food.

We have like a half new zone, so we are excited to meet everyone! We have been super busy as of late up here. Lot's of work to do, appointments every night, lot's of people starting to progress! We are loving it and are shooting for a few baptisms by the end of this transfer. The work is moving along!

Sunset over the mountains.

Elder Doig, our new companion, is loving it up here. He is a somewhat new missionary (we're not training him), and so he is learning to get out of his comfort zone recently.

One thing I learned this last week is that any progression is good progression! Whether it be with investigators, other missionaries, or even ourselves, if we are getting better than we are progressing. We won't be perfect in this life, but we can be perfect in trying!

Elder Torres cut his finger on a broken piece of ceramic sticking out of a trash can while biking . Hopefully he doesn't have HIV now. He's kind of a baby about it. #lol

Loving it out here. Hope everyone has a great week!
